Location of talks and registration is the Hirt Academic Center, building 18 on the map. Pictures of Hirt.
Parking closest to Hirt Academic Center is the upper ramp (lot P2), the lot adjacent to the ramp (lot P4) , or behind Zurn Hall (lot P8). After 3:00 you may park in any lot, except the small lot next to the chapel (lot P3), with out a permit.

There are several motels at the Erie exits of I-90, however the occupancy
function often attains its maximum on Friday nights. We would recommend you
reserve your room early. Also be aware there is an 11% occupancy tax that is
usually not included in the original price quote.
The pizza party is on campus, so there is no advantage of one motel over
another.
The motels closest to the college and easy to find are at I-90 and route 97
(Exit 27, or the Perry Highway exit). Arby's, McDonald's, Subway, Barbato's
Pizza and two red-neck bars are located here.
Note: A brand new casino,
Presque Isle Downs, has just opened (Feb. 28) at this exit.
It currently is just a slot parlor. The race track part of the
complex will open in late summer. Nobody knows what
impact this might have on the local motels. At several times during the day
there can be a great deal of traffic at the interchange of I-90 and route 97 going to
the south and coming from the south. Do not be
surprised to see several State Police vehicles at this exit; they are not there
to escort you!

The next best exit is I-90 and route 19 (Exit 24, or Peach Street exit).
Addresses of these motels will be in the low 8000s Peach, Oliver Road or

Street always has a lot of traffic so you may have some problems locating the
motel. The
set of restaurants found at this exit has cardinality strictly greater than
aleph-null.
In downtown Erie, which may be a little harder to locate, but not to far from
the campus are the
Downtown Erie Hotel (actually
closest to the college), Avalon, and
Downtown Super 8. The Boothby Inn is
a very nice (expensive?) bed and breakfast in downtown Erie. There are several
other fine motels in Erie, several near the entrance to Presque Isle, but it
would require more time to get to the campus.
