Freshman
- MATH 170 Calculus I (Fall)
- MATH 171 Calculus II (Winter)
- MATH 150 Linear Algebra (Spring)
Sophomore or above
- MATH 170 Calculus III (Fall)
- MATH 171 Transition to Advanced Mathematics (Fall)
- MATH 240 Differential Equations (Winter/Spring).
- MATH 250 Numerical Analysis (Winter/Spring).
- MATH 260 Applied Mathematics (Winter/Spring).
- All majors should complete Programming I by the end of winter term of the sophomore year prior to taking Numerical Analysis.
- Calculus III is a perquisite for all upper level courses.
- Transition to Advanced Mathematics should be taken prior to any Junior/Senior level courses.
Junior/Senior
- MATH 280 Modern Algebra (Winter/Spring)
- MATH 290 Probability Theory (Winter/Spring)
- MATH 291 Statistical Analysis (Winter/Spring)
- MATH 370 Advanced Calculus (Winter/Spring)
- The department would prefer student teaching or Internship/Co-op be done in the fall term of the senior year.
- Students not in secondary education must take Programming II or Topics in Math. or a Co-op at some time.
