Hexagonal Tilings

About Hexagonal Tilings

A tiling pattern can be created by manipulating a regular hexagon, as long as every other vertex maintains an interior angle of 120 degrees, and if the edges connected to these vertices are of equal length.

Using the Applet

Drag the handles to change the shape of the original hexagon and create a new tiling.
